Suffolk County Council is the local highway authority. As the highway authority the county council is responsible for writing and implementing the Local Transport Plan (LTP), which establishes transport priorities and objectives within Suffolk. The county council is also responsible for writing and implementing the Transport Asset Management Plan (TAMP).
